i want an art duel, we can bug someone to choose a topic

I just wanted to see if this forum was public and open but a duel would be nice. ive been doing so much administration im forgetting how to do art i think. also the facebook games.

I think we get someone neutral to choose a topic and then set a deadline, then put it in the lounge for everyone to vote. I have three important events coming up and a class I need to prep for, so I will need about a month out deadline, if it pleases you.

The losers have to wear in their custom title or signature "I lost an art duel to -screenname-" for a month. maybe with a link to the winners sketchbook

I will go bug William B Hand to choose a topic since he is good at that sort of thing (and other things, but this being mainly what we need)

I think it would be even more fun with whoever feels up to the challenge being included.

After due consideration and only one cup of coffee, I went through the IOW suggestion thread and nicked this idea as it'll suit both contestants - Alien Nursery. Final pictures to be posted on 28 February. Let battle commence.

We can just follow the Weekly model, WIP's here and then finals in a finals thread with progress images, except with multiple images being okay. I plan on at least a couple of alien grubs along with the enviroment itself.

After the crib, mobile/entertainment and comforting enviroment for the caretaker, I think it's important to know who you are caring for. I personally love greys so I'll be a bit vanilla in my choice of alien, but the females rarely stray from home and have some interesting reproductive features.

I loved this corridor from doom 3 so I flipped it over and made it into my glowing-circle floor idea. feels like I have something of an idea of where this is going to go. Come on people, play with me !!!!
