So uhm, didn't get to drawing yesterday, only did a few sketches today. Quite relaxing though.
I, like, started my drawing journey at the worst time possible, but there's no point in postponing such a thing either.

lupre - Hehe, sweet. Still a lot of technical skill missing, sadly.
When I'm looking for reference, I mainly use deviantArt, Wikimedia Commons or just Google. I also save a lot of stuff randomly, like when reading an online newspaper.

So today... Ahem, technically it's tomorrow already. Two failures from imagination and one referenced thingy.

Colour studies are never a bad idea. I try to focus on them because colour give me a headache! Go for it.

Portrait study. Started on it yesterday, but scrapped that one. Then some figures.

Two digital scribbles.
First one is a short master study. I picked completely different colours (way too saturated), so decided to quit.
I tried that previous landscape again, focusing on just colour, but for some reason this one eludes me.

Did a few pages of pencil figures. No scanning on Saturday though Not happy with those either, though, so don't expect much.

hi again.. nice color studies. you could try using some chronological hierachy with your brushstrokes. first big, the more details the smaller. it's something i also have a hard time with, but i think it really pays off. i want to go away form the workflow: first, sketch. then color.. doing everything together seems for me the most organic thing.. but it's not easy.

lupre - Mmh, are you saying that because the landscape is such a mess? Regardless, it's true. Actually, that might be the most beneficial way to do colour studies. Your colours studies from yesterday look so nice...

So I scanned stuff. Did a bit more this weekend because I drew in the morning instead of doing that last before going to bed. (as a result, I'll have to finish some of my "real work" at five o'clock tonight :p)

Couldn't update for two days because of the server migration, but you didn't miss anything because I barely drew at all.

Hands from life (rearranged them from two different pages, hence why you see one of them twice). That one date says "11" but that should be "13" xD I was actually thinking "Nah, 11 was Monday" and then I checked my phone and saw that indeed, the date was 13 March so I wrote down 11 for some reason. I'm not bright these days (rather weeks/months), probably because I still didn't fix my sleeping pattern.
Oh, and I'll reupload those two images that got lost during server stuff... when I feel like it, that is.

Just look at the difference! I don't get it...
