edit: you have a great skill in simplifying stuff. that is something I have a lot of problems with. any tips on that topic? or is it just the amount of knowledge which lets you skip the unnecessary details?

I love what you're doing, especially those loose sketches and the way you colour them afterwards. That kind of instinctive way of creating an effect of form and light with a few quick dabs of colour really works for me. It's not all about pushing everything to a highly finished polish, you know?
I love your faces and your landscapes too. Great stuff. I think I might just have to subscribe.
