That train will cheer up a whole lot of people for certain. Will it be put on just one train? The humor and the attention to details makes makes me think of Norman Rockwell. Funny thing is that my first thought was that the teacher lady looked like Mona Sahlin. I'm a little curious about the boy next to the kissing couple, he doesn't seem to be looking at them but rather out through the window across the wagon. But then I don't understand his very surpriced expression.

This is awesome. Your artwork is really crisp; like Frida said, it reminds me of Rockwell a bit.

Thank you all! I mean, to be compared to Norman Rockwell's not the worst thing that can happen.
AND yes it will probably be even better if you know Swedish .. :-)

Fantastiskt! Nice touch med prinsesstårtesmaken där på Estrella. Skulle förmodligen inte dra in storskovan... Var kan detta tåg ses?

Really good work. Impressive! Must have taken quite some time. Like the newspaper-text . Must be incredible to see that in real life for you.

Wonderful work! It's nice to see that it's out in public where everyone can see it.

Great stuff - thanks for sharing! And in addition to Rockwell I see a bit of J.C. Leyendecker in there too (which isn't meant to take away from your work one bit - adds to it in fact)!
    What would Caravaggio do?

Hello and thank you so much.
I have not heard of J.C. Leyendecker before but checked on the web and could see what you mean. He has a little edgier style that you might not find in Norman Rockwells work. Thanks for the tip.
I looked at your pages but they did not work. I do not know if it's a temporary problem or if the page does not work.

Thanks for at least trying to check out my stuff Ahlberg...yeah, the portfolio images seem to be missing. Oh well, nothing in your league anyway. I'm glad I could share the Leyendecker tip though! Definitely more crisp and graphic than Rockwell. Leyendecker, Rockwell and Dean Cornwell were contemporaries and sort of the big three for Saturday Evening Post covers. Great stuff on your website as well! Keep posting!
