Internships

Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys have any good resources as far as internships go. I'm trying to find internships at a game, print or film company but there don't really seem to be any opportunities popping up. I'm still a student (in my 5th year actually) at the University of Michigan.

Maybe you can take a look at my portfolio and tell me if I should even be trying to get internships at places like this.

There's really no easy way to do it. You need to check on the websites of as many media companies as possible. For smaller studios, it's very possible that they will occasionally take on interns but don't publicize that fact, so go ahead and send them an email even if there aren't positions listed. Also check Craigslist of cities with major media markets (LA, SF, NY are the three biggest).
