    Wylie Beckert's Sketchbook

Since I'm trying to get serious about this art thing, I thought it would be a good time to start up a sketchbook and a Finished Works thread so I can post everything in style. This is the latter.

Here's a link to my finished works thread:

I'm always trying to improve both individual pieces AND my overall work, so criticism is always welcome.

    Thanks Rhoshone!

After having royally slacked on adding anything to this sketchbook thread (and pitifully little to my actual sketchbook) for some time, I've resolved to try to up my sketching AND posting. To that end, here are some quick and dirty scans from one of my scanty sketchbooks, circa January to present, with the eventual hope of more to come.

I really like your toned paper drawings, do you work in any other mediums you could post here?

You have a really cool style from what you've posted so far! Can't wait to see more, and different mediums would be interesting too .
Please drop by my sketchbook and help me improve!

Thanks, bobtail - I actually just started trying out oil paint... As soon as I have something that doesn't make me laugh/cry, I'll post it!

Great pencils so far, but as the above have said, the quantity of art provided so far is to little, more, more!
