Cool stuff reminds me of how I used to paint and draw haha! Try to mix a bit of perspective studies in there..will help you put your shapes and form into space! Keep it up and practice those foundations hard!

Dile - Thanks man! I definitely need to try and incorporate perspective into my drawings more, I'm pretty weak in that area. I'll make sure to do a bunch of landscape/cityscape studies when I can.

Stuff from this week; not very much, not very good. Bleh. Got some traditional pencils though which are fun (and messy).

I'm seein some really cool stuff in the last few posts! Your digital brushwork has evolved from "pretty damn good" to "damn near profesional"...although it would be nice to see you render a more recognizable subject matter.
Your drawing and linework is coming along nicely too...I see you used a bit of brush pen- lots of fun, but a bit difficult to control.
Keep practicing your forms in perspective!

AetherTechnician - Thanks for the compliment! I'd say I've got quite a bit before my brushwork is even amateur but I'll take anything I can get And I'll work on perspective for sure! Just gotta find some good time to study over break.

Ok, so I've got barely anything for today but I'm probably not gonna post until next weekend or something so I'll just post what shit I have for now. I can't draw people, or girls, or faces, but I tried to paint something less abstract so I guess that counts.

pretty sweet update, man, really love the pose of the figures in the bottom right. One thing that I would suggest is maybe doing some photo studies or more head practice, as I think its one of your weaker links, but as long as you keep it up you'll be chillin' anyway

Mewball - Yeah, faces are a pretty big issue for me. I'm gonna designate a lot of study time just to faces once Summer hits off.

I'm getting worse, I really hope Summer will remedy that. It's so fucking hard to focus on art and retain the things I learn when I'm constantly shoving school shit in my brain.

Your paintings are showing improvement. Don't stop with your drawing studies. Maybe try some value and form studies? Keep it up. Look forward to seeing more.
