Ahoy! Newer stuff at the bottom!

I'm currently resavign all the images so theyre lower in filesize, so they'll shrink fromw ~120-160k to ~60k. Should make things load faster. There are 200 or so images, so itll be a while tohugh.

I just scanned these in. The oldest one is the map, it's from 2002 I think...

I need to redo this, it's outdated.

I was teaching myself to draw mechs. This was page four of the learning.

The scanner messed up the colours on this one majorly...As for the art, she seems...thick?

Last one I have of these guys with me... This was actually the first set I drew though.

Did this in art class with India ink I think(heh). I mesed up on it so many times I can't even count...

I just wanted to use my new Prismas with this.

Been scribblin on this one all day on and off. Some of them had refrences, some didn't. The stuff in german, is just me trying to keep at least a little of the german I've learned alive in my head. Don't want to forget everything when I get back to school. Number 10 and number 12 are just...ick. Ignore them. Please? I anyone even views this.

Your cartoony man charactes are sweetness, but your realistic sketches need more work. Go, grasshopper, and sketch. :thumbsup:
Oh, and the fruit mechs are friggin' crazy! Lay off the pills...

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do. My realistic skills are nill, becuase I've never tried to improve them. hopefully by the end of this sketchbook I'll be able to draw a person that rembles a person...

Trying to come up with four new suits for a deck of playing cards is all this is.

This is what I might use to "sign" my images, unless it starts to look bad, or obstructs the images.

nice sketches dude, i think you already said it but draw from life, even if it's not perfect the tricle down of improvement applies to everything else you draw.

too bad the symbol on your backpack was just the power symbol. Mine is clearly a broken gear and a wrench. They just happen to look liek the on symbol.

The more I look at it. I can draw anything with realistic value at all. I feel like I draw like a 6 year old(with no penchant for art)... Gotta get to work on this.

I dunno, I just started drawing and kept adding...

Not worth posting... I was showing a diagram of my tiny room, then I added standard extra features like spiral staircase and batcave.

WORST PICTURE EVER. I was trying to draw my gf, but it didn't turn out. You see, whereas she is beautiful, this picture is an abomination on the face of the Earth.

Eh...I don't know what happened to page 23... Weird. I like that staff I drew.

Messing around with my Prisma markers. On the actual paper, these look really smooth. I like it.

Vampirella! I tried to see if colour pencils look good on top of reg pencils...the answer is no. Which I knew before I even started, so I don't know why I tried.

Some more Vampirellas. me and my friend Zach aka Elvis McVegas have an ongoing art contest twice a week. Our first topic was Vampirella.

My entry for said contest. I could've done better. I lost this one btw.

Next entry was to be "Robot Dog w/ bees" some pre-planning here. Aibo for ref.

I was trying to draw the cover of "Taking Lives" failed miserably. Note the leprechaun riding the Beaver tail ladden baby. Also I had my gf pose for the things i did on the right.

I tried again to draw my gf and this time with some weird star on her. I still suck at life drawing...she looks old or something. I hate myself for this "drawing".

Just a divider I put in my sketchbook for support. Hooray. Sadly this is probobly the best page in my whole SB.

Markers n' colour pencils. The guy in the middle top looks like a burn victim or something. Don't like it at all.

Entry for redesign spiderman contest. I won somehow. I hate this so bad. I can't redesign spiderman, he's too classic.

I had a blank space on this page. I filled it in now with the magics of computers.

Landscape drawing for my art class. I quit with it and went with something else completely.

'nother contest. Death Knight this time. I lost. I still like this one alot though.

Man, was it really neccessary to scan in every page of your scetchbook?

Hey man, you go some nice stuff happening there. Your pen stuff looks very solid, the mermaid one especially. You obviously know your weaknesses, so I guess pointing out that your anatomy needs work is... pointless. However, I think you might find this link helpful:

This is a great thread. THere's lots of exploring going on, and I friggin love the dnd o's and the mech banana. Very creative stuff, and lots of improvement going on. It's great seeing everything, including the stuff you mark as crap, all together in one place.

Favourite threads? Man, that's a hug compliment to me. I do put down my art, but to me it's my way of crit'ing my own stuff. My gf gives me that cute stuff too. I don't usually do it intentionally, but I don't think it's an insult really, so it's good.
