Art Stuff - tutorial series

Sup everyone! I launched a tut series today, check it out!

Note these first are very very noobie stuff, but I'll get into cooler more relevant stuff in later episodes.

Hello peeps! Episode 3 of Art Stuff is up!
It's about perspective (mostly for beginners) but I also talk and show some stuff related to using 3D for perspective mockups, near the end - useful for the more advanced artists as well.

I think your videos so far are very nice! Sometimes they get a little rambly (ep. 4)... But they have a lot of good information in them! I appreciate you taking the time and going through this from a beginner view. Sometimes, even though some of us aren't beginners, it's good to hear it OVER AND OVER. lol!

And one more small crit, was that sometimes your voice kind of fades off and jumbles... and it's not clear what you're saying at all... Not sure if that could be due to your accent or a technical issue. But maybe something to look into. -- In the first video your voice was kind of echo-y, and was difficult to hear. It got better throughout the rest of the episodes though. I'll definitely be subscribing!

I am looking for videos showing HOW to paint with a program. I use PSE... but I think all programs that you can paint in are pretty universal... brushes, etc. So as a beginner in digital painting I would like to know things like "color blocking", "color theory" (you mentioned you'd talk about this in future episodes), how to build colors on top of each other... How different brushes can be used, and how final pieces are rendered. Things like that.

I'm glad you like my tutorials overall. Rambly is definitely a good way to describe me but I'll try to be more to the point and efficient later

I'm trying to figure out voice setup still, so its a bit different each video. My accent might also be the problem but mostly its probably audio adjustment I'm still figuring out.
Yes ultimately what software you use doesn't really matter - I won't get too specific on photoshop stuff because I realise people might be using something else. Colour theory and others are definitely coming up

Composition will likely be the next video. Then some colour theory; some anatomy; etc.

Great video! I really liked that quick water painting demonstration at the end. As a CS6 user however, your tool preset is said to be incompatible with "this version of photoshop". Any idea how to work around that?
