Hey this is cool! It took me a little while to notice the heart sitting there....maybe you could reflect some more of the green from the eyes on to it making it stand out more? or make it glow? great style, cheers : )
It's a very dreary image, but nice! Very well done! I like the title a lot too.
In the spirit of sarcasm I would just like to thank you for being alive.
Great work again Dixon.
Your palette and lighting are really nice.
Very cool piece!
Sjajno!
I like the setting of the mod "Dreary",but nice, it also in my oppinion gives the bot a bit more emotion and um...feel. Nice touch on the heart too. :clapping1
Everybody has the right to idiocy, but some people abuse the privilege...
Thanks a lot, chaps - I thought this would have shuffled off onto page 2 by now.
Jezzarts - Good point, but if the heart has more 'weight' it fights for your attention with the robot's eyes and becomes distracting, so I settled on the version you see here. The intention is to lead the viewer in a loose spiral of gradually reducing focal points from the eyes, to the bird, along the cog holding hand and down towards the pile of scrap where you'll hopefully 'find' the heart, just like Mr. Robo did. I have to say it's not an entirely successful, though! Thanks for your comment, man.
