My first sketchbook

Hello everybody!

I'm really excited to post my first sketchbook! Any adviced/critiques would be greatly appreciated!

About two years ago, while I was in college, and not really enjoying my career path, I decided to give drawing a try.
I haven't really had the time to study, and being afraid I don't have what it takes and I'm too old to learn, I didn't make any time either.
Meantime, I was lucky enough to get hired to work on an independent animation feature film. I'm doing the music scoring now but later on I might help with the line art.
I'm really serious about learning how to draw now, as you can imagine.
Hoping to see some improvements soon!

Those studies are great, I almost want to see you get more messy though. It looks like you took time with them. What if you drew faster? There is a time for study, and then there is a time for drawing the crap out of your sketchbook, not caring much for what it looks like. It would be cool to see gesture lines, movement lines, flow lines.

I can't believe you are doing music scoring for animation. That's awesome! Keep drawing and be persistant and one day you can draw for the company too. Perhaps you can ask your company for feedback too, since face to face feedback is a nice thing to have.

Thanks! There's good messy and there's bad messy. I am drawing messy stuff, I'm just not posting them cuz I'm ashamed.

i like your work, im new on this site, and more or less chatting with others who want to get better like me. I hope to be as good as you at figure drawing.
