Design Lab Episode 9 - Sunken Forest [youtube activity]

Hey I just wanted to get my idea out there of a forest sunken into a city or a large garbage heap, I would draw up a thump nail but my PC is dead.

Hi! This is my first attempt at design lab. I hope it's not too bad.

First time user. I liked the idea of editing images into a composition. These are my thumbnails.
I might have overdone it and put in to much detail The idea of ruins underwater was interesting and a dolphin in the first thumbnail. There isnt much depth in them yet but these are just ideas.

i did actually split the image in three, but since the background color is the same, it doesn't show.

A lot of texture brushes used, both for compisition ideas and quick details.

Iksiels "forest-on-a-whale" idea is really neat. Wish I had come up with that

I culled down to 4 of the original 6 thumbnails I was working on as I noticed I was burning up the 2 hours I set for myself, looking forward to seeing what you make of everyone's work

those holes are suposed to be doors or something in that direction... i saw one of these walls with lots of hole in the where the birds live and shit, so that inspired me to do this. -leo

After looking at my thumbs and thinking more about the concept I've become a little more cognizant of where things could go. I guess I'll wait until the next stage of the lab though.
