    Tommyt's sketchbook

Here are some of my previous sketches. I hope to add something new every week.

I have no art instruction whatsoever so I am sure there is plenty I can learn.

If anyone has any hints or criticism please let me know.

I aim at being the best I can possibly be!

As you can see, they are mostly portraits of dogs. I have had several of these commissioned in the past. I also paint and plan to start on something new soon. Of course, I will show you my progress on here.

    Thanks!

Good start. I would like to see perhaps more human and also full body human figures. From those I especially liked the lion. It got some character. Also the first dog is really nice and I like the style you got there.

You could perhaps benefit from trying different media for example watercolours or oils. I'm waiting those paintings that you said you do. Just keep them coming.

Thanks for the reply. I have done many more human portraits than animals. However, most of my work has been lost and all I have been getting lately is commissioned portraits for dogs. Anyways, I will be sure to start on something new this weekend! Thanks for the input!
