    Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.

    Newest stuff on the last page!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Alright, I am relatively new here, but have been lurking and paying respects to the great work that goes on here. I have recently been bit by the CG bug, and now I am on a mission to improve my skills so I can make it into the game industry, particularily my dream company :p And half of this battle is my 2D work, as I also do 3D.
    My focus is character and creative development.
    Hopefully this keeps me moving and motivated to improve in the right directions.
    I really appreciate the honest C & C, so let me have it! Don't be blatantly mean though...
    And I had to refrain from putting up any old sketches, gotta keep it new!!!!
    Here is one I just drew out last night. I am working on some fanart pieces based off of Blizzard's worlds. These are some Dwarven Riflemen, but one has borrowed some equipment from a Ghost from Starcraft I know its rough, done up kinda fast...I am doing a color version of it now.
    Okay, I will post a couple other drawings I've done over the past couple months, the best looking ones of course. To give everyone something to look at
    Damn that staff was detailed! Its things like those that drive me to the point where i bang my head against my desk. So i tend to avoid them.
    You show a lot of potential, keep drawing. (That sentence made me sound like a pro! Well, one can dream...)
    Spent more time on this one. Kind of an accidental design to him. A concept idea for a character I call The Stygian Visionary. ( I tie most things I draw into a collective creative world.)
    Hi Rkhon,
    I´ve been browsing your sketchbook and I think you´re on the right track. The pics show a good sense for design and I think with some practise your renderings will fit completely.
    What I´ve seen so far you may need some more indepth anatomy. Of corse the usual tip "take lifedrawings, dude" is one of this sites favourites but I think you may know this, yet . It will help especially with your imaginative characters. Furthermore I think taking a good anatomy book and doing studies from this will benefit your drawigns quite well. I have the impression you´re working mostly from the surface without knowing the structures underneath.
    Anyway as I said before you´re on the right way and the rest is a matter of practise and study. Hope this could help you a bit.
    Fipse
    Hey thanks Fipse...yep it is a normal thing to say here, and of course true more often than not I have been doing more figure studies as of late and have a few books on anatomy. The two nudes are from picture references, but everything else is from my head, which I prefer to do...draw for fun too
    Here is another Barnes & Noble Cafe sketch that I finished at home...they only stay open til 10...just not right.
    Overproportioned barbarian character named Barroth that is in my world I draw from.
    This is a demon I call "The Bloody Stumps Daemon"
    It chewed off its arms long ago, and sharpens its arm bones by gnawing with its teeth. Then he runs the plains of hell, searching for new souls to torture. You'll know its him by the sound of a thousand wailing infants...and soon enough the stabbing away with his evil bloody stumps begins.
