Cool pose. Interesting character. You got the proportions and foreshortening (sp?) down pat.

Any chance of getting one with more detail? Some characters do fine with a quick, rough sketch, but this one wants to be drawn some more. Give him some lovin' and show us what he really looks like.

Thank you very much, this is actually my first digital sketch. I am more adept with the pencil and paperl, and I will for sure further detail him. The concept is a character I created years ago named Silver.

good start, i'm thinking you could smooth the whole thing out and use it as a base layer for more detailed over painting.

    any background on the character?

I wish I knew how to do some of that stuff. As of yet there is no background, but I will think of one. Thanks very much,

i really like this one... it has so much potential.... If alot of artist would make their interpretation of this one I bet we would see various versions of this piece. I can't say alot about the proportions nor the pose.... it's still to sketchy to really give out constructive crit... I would tilt the character about 70 degrees to the right.

    Keep us posted on updates.

I don't know about the rest of you but I have never seen someone with that unhealthy shade of red.

Ubermind's monitor colors may be a little off. That's the problem with digital and web art. What looks like red on your monitor may look orange on mine. This is especially true with tone. Greys on one monitor may look black on another, depending on how they have their brightness and contrast set. That's why it can be difficult to crit color choices on the web like this. No biggie. Just know it's an issue and plan for it.

I'm eager to see this picture worked up. I hope to see it soon. No pressure.

    [Edited for spelling]
