Hey Slash!, That Android inspired one is sick! Looks like the whole 3D/2D combination has done wonders for you! Keep at it and good luck.

I didn't meet you at the workshop by the way, but I was the bald kid, I saw you at the airport and I think you lost your suitcase. It was funny.

Keep at it, and good luck!

    hi slash,

as johnny said, great improvement since page 1. Your anatomy is like 10 times better.
I like the android in the last post, though I think he is sometimes a bit to blurry. But absolutely like the design

Wow... the leaps and bounds you've made in improving your skills is inspiring. It seems like some of your little breaks did nothing but good things for you, and it seems like Prague did even more. Your anatomy, sense of line, value and lighting, color, composition.... Everything has improved a thousand fold since you started this book. I'm really looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

    @tensai: Thanks a lot! I'll try!

@madplanet: thanks! I have some sketches from prague, and i'll probalby scan them later on. They arent that interesting tho, since its mostly quick pose lifedrawings.

@Hurri: thanks dude! you know i love you.

@Miau: Thanks. Im really sorry, but i cant connect your nick to a face. It was probably awesome meeting you there too tho, since everyone were such nice people.

@dCept: Thanks! Yeah, i hear you man! I miss it all! Until next time we just have to polish our skillz.

@blog: Thanks. glad you like it. me losing my bag wasnt funny at all. I cant remember you from the airport, im sorry.

@johnny: Hey dude! It was cool talking to you in prague! My band is doing great, playing gigs and creating musical fusion. Oh, and thanks for the compliments!

@Haldor: Thanks dude! I'll run over him and give him another pass as soon as i find my wacom. (yeah i know, im feeling pretty much amputated without it. On the bright side i get to polish my graphite skills more..)

@Bdfoster: Thanks a lot for the kind words! Keep watching and you'll see where it ends. (i sure as hell dont know yet. )

@Gloominati: Thanks! I'll see what i can do. I do have a graphite mech in this update tho, if that tickles your fancy. Not by far in the same style as the one above tho..

@Some Guy: Thanks for the kind words!

And finally, here's a little of what i've been doing since prague. Since i have to borrow my dads all-in-one printer/scanner/fax, i dont scan everything i do anymore. Its just too much of a hassle. But i do have SOME stuff for you guys:

Here's an underwater scene thing with some fishy-men thumnails.

(click here to see a higher rez version.)

Here's a harem type fishy-girl, the idea is based around a goldfish:

    Here's a sketch i did for a ch.o.w., that i never finished:

    Mod stuff:

This guy didnt start out this gay, i dont know where i took the wrong turn. But i decided to embrace it instead of fighting it. LOL.

Thats all for now people, i thank you all for the support!

Great update man. It really seems like your graphite skills are improving. I love the toned Sketchbook with the white charcoal/conte. Wht kind of book are you working in?

I really dig the bot sketch and your figures. One note on the figure labelled "mod stuff"-- be cautious about your forms. It really seems like you've focused on the clothing and forgotten the forms underneath. It should look like there's a body underneath those clothes, and right now I'm not buying it.

    Keep up the great work!
