Seen it... go get a job on McDonalds, dude...

Hahaha... no seriously; like I've said, the ink and copics-thing seems to really work for ya! Give some of those spaceship thumbs a little almost dry marker treatment, to build a little values on 'em, and refine with the brush pen

LUIS: About that page.... I know for a fact that those pages are the kind you can rip out, so you'll have an easy time with it when you get here

Today's update. Been messing around in opencanvas with petite, did some ladies there, along with some instructing that i've omitted. I also did a one hour irc thunderdome with the title "fungus parasite" or something like that. Like usual i turned into something with boobies. And i guess you can call that coil more phallic than fungal. But hey, its all just fun and games! Also included is a wip for a nude ortho sheet im working on, i'm also doing some facial expressions to help make morph targets.

No reference used for anything in this update. Doing all the ref studies lately has really made me more confident when it comes to what goes where on the female body.

Enjoy. And to everyone: thank you all for your continued support!

How about doing what Texahol said; branch out to clothing.... I mean... they can still be topless, or have like... convenient clothing designs that for some (I'm sure well founded and thought-thru way) don't cover the tetas?

ooooooo different stuff...like the glowy guy , although he is awfully semetrical and not actually centered, and you kno wwhat you have to do to that chow... although are you skirting the issue of the 3/4 rule??
lower hand looks a little odd.

    keep up the great progress

Allie: She's doing.. um.. something.. um.. GIVE ME A BREAK OKAY? i don't know what ladies do when they have clothes on. T_T (or what they do with them off, for that matter, i guess..)

Chaos: Most of it is just a symmetry flip. I was absentmindedly doodling to warm up. And if i include this in the chow, it will be a full fledged body shot, this is just a face study. Thanks for stopping by!

Sick today, so nothing real to show.. i never got further than the warmup, which is half an hour worth of posemaniacs gestures.

    Might be more later on!

Still sick as a dog.. Forced myself to do some gestures and ink tho, didn't wanna get completely out of it.. I guess its easy to see my shaky hand in the ink lines.. The orange copic doesn't build values properly, but its the only one thats still full enough to cover smoothly. Gotta get refills for those green and purple ones!

    Get well soon ._./

I love how little lines you need to put on paper to actually convey the pose... im guessing this is the result of a lot of anatomy studies... T_T I should seriously get on that...

update moar! wt happened with that last chow?

The leg and foot seem a little strange on the last one, and I kinda wish I saw some hands... not avoiding them, are we?

Love the posemaniacs gestures, those are coming along oh-so-well...

Keenir! Thanks! Feeling a lot better now. Thanks for stopping by!

Petite: The last chow called in sick, or rather, i did! As far as lines go i'm thinking "less is more", trying to convey the shapes with as few lines as i can.

cgaddict: I'm glad you like them! Thanks for stopping by!

Jess: Just following the reference, not trying to hide anything. I hear you on the leg and foot.. but i was sick. thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it! Thanks for dropping by!

    CHOW is looking good!

I think that more depth could be added to the scene by adjusting the angle of light, so that the strips of light on his body aren't connected to those on the ground and wall.

The enviro isn't bad (DEF practice those more, the world will open up to you) but you need some contrast in your strokes/edge detail... maybe sharpen up the beach and water some, let the background stay fuzzy and recede (maybe a lil more atmosphere at the back), to give it more focus.

The perspective seems a little awkward on the background in your chow... it slashes really sharply across the piece, and seems more angular/tilted than he does. I think it may be because the mortar line on the stone is exactly parallel with the ground plane, when it should be getting a little closer to it as it moves back in space...? If that makes sense...
    Love his face/the eyes especially.
