Nice studies. I'll give you the same advice I got which really made my environments improve drastically. Begin with the hard brush at around 70-90% opacity & flow. Later on, if you want, add textures or smooth out certain areas. It's difficult at first but a great way to capture the atmosphere.
    Good luck!

Congratulations on the books, they are all great. I'd say learn basic shapes, forms and porportions with Hogarth or Bridgeman and then go through Force dynamic life drawing - out of all the books I've read, I've learnt from this one the most (in its specific subject of course).

    Keep it up!

WOOOO BOOOKS! you scored! I covet that frazetta book.. .mmmmmmm... Hey so I'm not going to be attending the life drawing class with kathleen quaife this semester since I have a class at gnomon from 7-10 pm on Mondays. She didn't want to have to put in the extra work to have me attend the 1-4pm class on Mondays and attend regularly her class on Wednesdays 7-9pm. ohhh well. I will be practicing quick sketches via pixel lovely and handouts. and if a gnomon class is canceled I'll probably hop in at the moorpark class to get some drawing in. I'm going to see if I can just go on wednesday nights as someone who audits the class. hopefully that will work out cause i still need to be drawing regularly for quick sketch. anyways. just letting you know so that you don't think I'm giving up... haha.

Keep up the good work man.

ah, you've discovered the six lines/reiley method of drawing the figure. do they cover the rhythms of the figure too in whichever book you are using? if not I can make a scan from a SECRET sheet that has em...hahaha...your figures look a lot more solid using that method. well done. good progress. Oh and yeah, I'll definitely continue to post here even though I may not be attending the life drawing class.

@Jmob yea man the Reiley method is awesome, as for rythms the book covers it a little bit not much tho it would be interesting seeing your "secret page" haha
