ohh this is a nice example of psychedelic sculptures.
I love it, nice work
The Healer is awesome! So many things to look at and a lot of contrast! Very very nice. The feet really draw me in and those hands. Well done!
I love the last one too! The finishwork is very cool!
such unique sculpts,great work
Thanks glad you like her, thanks for the comments.
Like it. And the last six eyed head too.
What material do you use?
Thanks,
Clay I use is chavant and The 6 eyed alien is a resin positive that I painted.
The triangular hole through the healer really makes the piece stand out and have a mind-bending effect about it.
Don't like the middle blue creature as much. Too heavy shading on the paint job. The last creature is much more balanced.
Awesome, did you use any form of reference? Did you work from sketches? How big is it? Do you recommend Chavant for a beginner? How long did the sculpt take?
Sorry, for all questions btw
Sorry for the delay just visited this today and noticed your message.
Any reference yes I used reference for the feet and hands I wanted to make sure they were right,no sketches just an idea I had forming in my head and ideas while pushing the clay around.
Yes Chavant is a good clay I'd also recommend plasterline.
The sculpt took over 2 weeks on and off because some days you can have sculpting block and nothing come to you to inspire and advance the piece, when I have days like that I'll sculpt other areas like I sculpted a swan from references that I will be adding to the healer,If you want to see it with the swan I have uploaded a video on youtube that you can watch the videos called 'sculpting the healer pt2 update' and my youtube name is 'moogoutcreatures' if you'd like to subscribe, leave me a message if you liked it thanks.
