Hey There! Nice start Torres!
I specially like the War of the Worlds Study, the values and atmospheric perspective are very good. As you are just starting out, try some Linework or any traditional medium as well. Keep Posting!
Thanks! Here's some of my traditional stuff

Why, thank you Psycho ! Will do!
Some more quick studies !

Your works are so beautiful! I love the contrast and emotion depicted in your pieces! The grayscale ones are some of your most impressive; they emit so much emotion and feeling without needing color. Your art is very impressive; keep up the wonderful work!![]()
Small update! Went on holidays for a bit so not much stuff just yet. Specially painting are lacking since until now I had no laptop to work from.
Hope you enjoy it none the less

I don't usually post my WIPs, but I've been thinking it might be good to do so and maybe get some guidance and critiques.
As such here is some of my concept art work for the Jules Verne classic 20 thousand leagues under the sea.

Really good sketchbook, lots of variety look like you are having fun with it to. Really like your black and white studies, the depth in the War Of the Worlds painting is impressive. Clearly have a good grasp on values. Do you work from life a lot? The Christopher Lee painting is sweet love the way you have captured his expression. Keep pushing think your going to improve very rapidly if you keep working like this
Very nice sketchbook, great style. Ill be keeping my eye on you!
Seeing that gameboy SP just brought back a big bag of nostalgia!
@ja1307: Thank you mate! I do try and work from life somewhat regularly. Trying to go out and draw with friends at least once a week. But nowadays I don't get to do it nearly as much as I did before. I'll undoubtedly keep on keeping on! Thanks again
@Cheboboh: Thanks man! Your welcome to keep tuned for more of my work! I know what you mean about the Gameboy![]()
Tell you what, maybe next time I'll draw my GB pocket![]()
Some stuff from yesterday
Let's see what I can turn out today! Cheers!
nice first page to you sb! keep it up!
your sketches are very well done. even though they are rough, they provide a lot of information to the viewer. that is something I need to work on!
it seems the thing you could stand to improve the most is human faces. even though you're pretty good at those too!
awesome start to your sketchbookand thanks for your critique.
@kevin_ thank you mate! Keep tuned for more
@WRappiii Yeap , faces are a world of their own aren't theyAs a aspiring concept artist I don't usually strive to be aweosome at them though. Too many other more important subjects to work on :/ But they are tons of fun and great painting practice
Thank you for the kind words!
Keep the Critiques coming!!!
dope stuff man!
definitely on the right path! you can already see the color improvement!

Really nice variety of studies. Good job.
@Aragah Thanks! Color was a huge problem starting out
@Mewball Thanks mate! I try to study all types of stuff. You should have seen some of my last year's sketchbook pieces :p
Little update just so you know I'm still here
The last two are not my designs! They are studies on value/color and composition from other artists (Feng Zhu and Noah Bradley).
I'm suffering from a huge artist blog so there isn't much content for me to post
I hope it will get better soon.
Bought a Cintiq! happy days :p
Haven't worked much though :s that will change soon

Another test on the Cintiq. Trying to calibrate my color's this time .. it's a b*tch xD

Another small update! I notice a distinct lack of commenting over here! :p Come on, don't be shy
Go ahead and trash my work with your critiques![]()

hey man! going good on the studies eh?
and lucky you, got a cintiq! im jealous.
you seem to have you focus towards value, its good. but i think you colors are falling a little behind.
i would warn you to pay a little bit more attention to saturation control.

Great stuff. Some of the brushes on your digital works disturb me a bit, like the first image on post 12, also the perspective studies lower in the same post seems to be skewed remember it is "extreme" perspective if the angle to the vanishing point is equal to or less then 90 degrees.
Man the first couple on post 14 were really cool, thank you for them![]()
