nice sketchbook. The apple is good, but watch your edges, they seem a little soft all the way round, if you sharpen up the edges that arent in shadow it will have a more convincing look

Hey, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. I agree anatomy and shading are more important than clean lines, but let us not forget to use our whole arm and not just our wrist when we draw. This way we can avoid an over-abundance of "hairy-fuzzy" lines. To quote Loomis, "Do not pet in your line, draw it cleanly with long sweep.". I've heard of that book you suggested, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. I'll have to check it out some.

You've got some nice stuff here too. I'm a fan of your colored work, digital and traditional. It looks like you've been pretty consistent with your studies. That's good. Keep posting!

Hello There! You are really into figures there, try some books by Andrew Loomis like "Fun with a pencil" and "figure drawing for all it's worth" in this order, it will really help you to get more form sense, and it will help you a lot. About the SB, just stay with one and keep posting over and over. Keep it up!

Jonathan L- Yes, it's true that they're all important, and it's good that you're studying Loomis, I just find anatomy and all that more important. But that's just me, I could be wrong. What do I know? And thanks!

    Kevin_- Thanks! Will do.

Caio Chagas- Ah, Loomis. Of course. Thanks so much!

    Some more.
