My name is Jennifer S. Lange; I am a self-taught artist from Germany. I have had smaller commissions, but most of my work was for private clients; currently I am freelancing.
I used to paint almost only characters, but have turned towards environments lately. I want to become more diverse in my genre choices and construct cooler viewing angles, loose my fear of crowd scenes, and get away from too monochromatic colour schemes.
I want to work in the entertainment industry; I would also be fine with illustration, but in the end, I want to be a concept artist.
I recently started building my own IP, the fantasy setting Genius Loci. It will be a mystical yet colourful setting with many influences from fairy-tales - as far as the story goes - and oriental/slavian/"elven" style for the visuals. Some of those works are included here.
