Im digging the still lives.. they look nice and the reflections came of very well. The book you are using to study the figure is very good, just keep at it, and i notice massive lack of color knowledge on a couple enviros i saw up there, you should work harder at those and try to anylize better those greens.

It certainly does. As long as you keep on trying, it doesn't matter if you end up drawing for 8 hours or 8 minutes.

Good values on that rock you painted on page 4! Those are some nice values, i think it's one of your best on values.
Good thing you're doing construction, more! What i'd suggest is taking your time more with the linework, to get it clean looking.

Been a while since I dropped in, I notice a lot of improvement! One thing I might suggest is constructing the legs as cylinders then adding the extra masses on top of it. That way you don't get these weird proportional errors.

Hey! Its been a while since I logged in. Been sick for a while, my immune system is acting bad towards me >< but wow page 5 and u still keep pushing out nice studies mixed with imagination art.
Im sorry if I cant give you so much feedback this time since I still feel abit pooped out. But I really like that u start adding some value to your figures and features. Ears looks good and I love to see how u tackle every thing u want to become better at. Ill hope to be more active this week and thanks for the excellent feedback from you Take care now!

Like your futuristic designs, painted spaceships and costumes, they are really eye-catching, red&blue&dark are so nice. And it's very inspirational to watching on your studies, I like a lot girl from post #124, nice work.

Hey! I guess Im back not feeling shitty sick anymore and its great How are you? I did miss being here and Im really happy to see that you are pumping out art as usuall high five!
I found this site and I wanted to share with you http://cgcookie.com/concept/
I checked on some and I bookmarked it for sure, thought they had some cool things
Seeing some good improvement especially on the nice art you did in sketchbook pro. the pose on the last one is really nice imo and the face features looks sharper, the only thing I can say for now is to make the edges around the face abit more sharper.
the noses are really nice, u pumped out more noses than I could do I think ^^ really impressed.
Keep punching thoose areas you wanna improve like you have so far, if I can ask for something maybe u could do an enviroment again btw on that cgcookie site I saw a nice tutorial on shapes http://cgcookie.com/concept/2013/01/...value-shading/
    Thinking of doing that aswell.
Have a nice weekend now and dont forget to have fun drawing
    cya soon

Hey man thanks for drop in on my sketch book before, greatly appreciated.
I can see you have improved massively over time, so good to see.
The last two reference paintings are great, and the body's in perspective really good start. if you haven't already I advise looking through some basic anatomy drawings even if its cartoon anatomy, understanding what's there and what it's 'there' 'for' is so useful to a painter.
Anyway good luck and keep painting. Cheers

hey again! Tried to reply to you for a while but the latest days Ca had some server moving and everytime I went to check I couldnt load or there was a 404 error.
anyway really great to see you update, and to answer your question about my still life, yes I do set them up at my home, I have to battle with space so thats why if I dont finish quickly enough the risc is that Ill move it eventually like the pot and onions ^^
I have also worked from photos both taken by me and others for practise, but I gotta say that working from life really shows more color than a camera. However if u really cant do that, set up a still life at home, photos are good too
Somehow the pictures of the 3 first posts dont show up but I guess its because of the move of the servers.

Perspective can be hard..or no it is hard >< I remember first time I tried to learn it was more like learning latin to me. Scott Robertsson have alot of good tutorials and I even have a book from him called liftoff (but thats mostly because of the pretty pictures) ^^
I highly recomend him I also have a book from Koos Eissen (it cost abit but its a nice book) called "sketching". Now there are loads of free information out there and I also think that you can preview both of them. Great information on this page even http://www.conceptart.org/forumdisplay.php?f=146
so before you go out and buy expensive books, check that out scott robertsson also have a youtube channel, cant remember the name tho. I think its just scott robertsoon?

Sorry for my endless blabber, I did notice something on the papers where u did alot of sternoclido mastoid drawings, I dont know how accurute iam but I think that the neck there came out abit too angled. Sorry for the bad quality ><
    Otherwise really nice drawings.
