Last one is cool, interesting sillhouette! Hope things work out well with the personal stuff too..
Well your rendering is very good, but about the flatness. Lets see, hmm think that you put straight line when it needs to be a very curvy one.Its like you have a cylinder but pushed in z axis. You want to train your mind some more to the z axis, adding depth. Make some cylinders in perspective and attach belts on them, eventually you will get used to it.
Take care![]()

Thanks for dropping by my sketchbook Kevin. You said my studies were good, but if I said that about your studies, it would be a definite understatement. Really liking the painterly style of your characters. Will definitely look through here again soon.

What KK had to say is something I'd recommend practicing pronto. Your values and rendering is rock solid, understanding form is what I would work on most right now if I were you, but that's just my opinion.
Rock on man, all the best!
mrpryminista-im on it lol i will dedicate a lot of practice to it!
some quick sketches i did to loosen up for the new bloodsports contest and some quick goth gurl

your rendering ability is great man, there is though a stiffness in some of your studies-maybe do some more gesture studies
or try a more painterly approach.

nice updates! really like the color of that dragon!
Lovely updates man!
Your heart was never made out of plastic, your heart was forged out of true and real steel,
now we can see that, through the comeback of yours and through your character designs
and paintings, I think that your portfolio will skyrocket on the primary market. Howl a bit
here, howl a bit there your mayhem will be everywhere. You were struggling with character
stiffness, but then you’ve learnt the golden rule, how to not be stiff, and it’s actually working,
everyone is so happy about you. In your rear mirror you can see the muddy road turning into
gravel, sure steps you are taking towards your successful sunshine cool future. Bestiality on
a high level, you should put on your shades now a bit and enjoy the fame. I will be in the
backyard, you just call my name.

Keep up the good work mate. Keep your shapes clear and readable [test something, make a lasso selection or whatever [with some variety] and fill it with random strokes here and there[[plus some random textured brushstrokes]] [dont leave pure white in it] and see how a clear defined shape works]
