Just a start to my own sketches that I've begun recently (In the last month and a half)...Only just got back into the art scene after a good number of years so I'm a wee bit rusty. Hope you guy's can give crit which would be most helpful.

hey! welcome here! i like the looseness in your sketches! however i think you are overusing black which makes the pictures look too dark.. try to replace black with other dark tones, it will sure help the color palette

Thanks for the welcome...I think your right about the over use of black. I'll keep that in mind, thank you.

Wasn't sure if my images were either too dark or too bright in contrast..looked at these images on other monitors and I thought they looked quite bright in some of them.

This bunch was done wwwwaaaayyyy back. Somewhere around about sept to november 2010 whilst trying out a trail version of painter..so they're not exactly to date..

not been up to much in the last few weeks apart from render a bit more of the previous image. Hope to get it finished this week end with any luck, so that I can get on with something else...thinking of changing the cloak or take it away as I feel it's not quite work at the moment...
