    Smile Mystery of the rose

my most darkest piece, it exemplifies love and pain, intertwined like the thorns of the rose....

it took almost two months to complete, although the initial sketch was done last year, it was all but forgotten until recently it caught my attention.

done using photoshop CS3; lot of shape layers, blending modes...

    thank you all for viewing..
    god bless..

I really like the mood you have set! Cool piece! I think you have succeeded in conveying the mystery: There's a lot going on here to look at for those who take the time. You might want to scale back on the size of the picture though so we can see all of her on the screen without scrolling. Really beautiful though.

Its Gorgeous! I love the details, concept, softness and colours to help the overall image. Not sure why she has that thick eye-brows like a moustache, giving me an impression she can never lift the upper eyelid.
But again, topnotch work and one of my fav.

First of All- Gorgeous Work! Props!
I happen to agree about "The eyelashes"-actually, for me, the "Make-up" distracts from the quiet, elegant mystery that this character, embodies... This character has, " Her Own Story" without any extraneous addition[s].
I stopped fighting my inner demons; we're on the same side now...
