    IDW # 207 - Bio-Mech Mind Control Implant

    Topic: Bio-Mech Mind Control Implant
    Deadline: Sunday, June 24

Design a bio-mech mind control implant; the implant has to be located on the head(s), the host does not have to be human, nor does the host have to be fully functioning after they become the host.

    Brief:
    1. Design and draw a Bio-Mech Mind Control Implant.
    2. That's it... now draw!

So basicly a device that, when implanted, has the ability to control the (human) host?

Sounds like the worlds most awesome RC toy... like it!

I like the idea, but normally when I think implant I think something subdermal, under the skin. This is very extrnal and would probably violate the brief. An external hookup to something inside the head would probably be acceptable, but I'd try to make it on the interior of the body.

Maybe show a cutaway of the device inside the skull.

    ControColpo: Yep.

SMILEFACE: Looking good- I have no problem with non-head connections but the majority of the thing should be on/in the head. The bio of the bio- mech needs to be there as well.

Smileface - I like it, maybe include one large 3d image of your design and use the rest as supporting sketches, even a see thru of your idea?? also
there is a few methods in translating your idea, like the process view how things function and also exploded view where you break up your machine into parts.

Might join in on this one liking the topic

I'll have a go at this too.
Drew the shark from reference, mostly because I've got no idea how to draw underwater lighting. So this was a fun exercise. Must give the implant some more thought.
I'm thinking it's either used to turn the animal into a stealthy torpedo, or provide a small cargo platform for attack divers. Might do variants.
    Very fun anyway.
