Cintiq best settings

I recently purchased a Cintiq 12wx, but I don't feel I have it on the best settings D=

For the properties in general and relating to photoshop and painttool sai. And for stuff regarding the screen brightness etc.

Can someone post screenshots or explain what they think would help (if anything)

Considering how customizable the tablets are, the best settings are keys that are most useful for your particular workflow.

If you don't feel your monitor is calibrated, you should invest in a calibration tool like a Spyder or Xrite.

I own a 12wx and never found a setting inside windows or mac that allowed you to up the brightness. it takes some getting used to because its only like 180 nits or something. I recently packed up my 12wx up to sell since i just upgraded to a 21ux so I cant try myself but can you check the breakout box and see if there is a brightness setting there. it would be interesting if there was and i never knew about it. Other then the vga and the dvi switch I never touched the other buttons that are on it.
