Years ago I used conceptart's employment boards to post a freelance comic job, got a bunch of submissions, found my artist, and it worked well. Fast forward to now and I need a graphic designer for a logo redesign/improvement and to improve my site's CSS to have consistent branding.
I found concept art's old method intelligible and it worked for me. I don't know that this Jobs for Mobs thing on here is what I'm after. Google searches on graphic design bids haven't turned up a community or process that I can easily understand. I'm looking for a place where I can just post my specifications and interested designers can just glance at them, my existing logo and site and go "Yeah, I could easily fix that. $XXX is my offer. Here's my work" and if not, they just move on with their lives. This is how conceptart worked for me in the past, so I'm hoping there is a place where I can still do that? Thanks.
