I went to the latest album release of Planetary Assault Systems. It was also an ostgut-label day/night and absolutely sick! It started at 3pm with all these bird sounds, floating water and very ambient sounds and gradually worked up. At 11pm planetary started to play and after that it was just 7 hours of straight madness. Best party I've been this year for sure!
Blue Monday reminds me of Vive la Fête.
Happy electronics!
I'm a big fan of this remix of Good Evening Mrs Magpie by Modeselektor.

BLUE MONDAY !!!
for those not in the know, new order's the greatest pop band of all time and bizarre love triangle 12" is the best pop song ever.
DEAL WITH IT.
something more on topic, chilled out acid from 808 state with barney from NO on the vocals
Have to spam this thread one more time
Richie Hawtin had a project with Anish Kapoor (the sculptor) last year at the grand palais in France. Dancing on techno in a location that looks like this:
must be one of the more fun things you can do.
Anyway, the set of that event can be found here:

It's two hours of pure joy.
I came here in hopes of a discussion about LSD but im disappointed![]()
i can't because i haven't taken it yet,
but john lennon can
hi everyone, how are you doing ?
i know none of you missed me, but i'm back anyway!![]()
(with perhaps a little less nut shit battery)
anyway...
...
Anybody notice that LSD disappeared. It's all good though I prefer shrooms. Acid is too much of a mind fuck. Luckily I never took a bad trip, but dealing with people on a bad trip was fucking horrible. It's pretty rare that somebody has a full blown freak out on shrooms.
LSD is disappearing probably because of popularization of many new drugs that still are legal.
Bad trips:I think there may be few resons, I always thought bad trips on lsd are rather rare.
You actually don't know what substance and how much of it is in blotter, dose ideal for one person may be disaster for another. You can take LSA that won't be much different, but you can take something with much longer duration (bromo dragonfly) or unpleasant bodyload and both things can cause bad trip. Another thing, LSD trip is two times longer than shrooms.
Yeah, acid does tend to overstay it's welcome. Melting walls and dancing carpet stains become irritating after four hours. Shrooms always wear off in the knick of time. The only thing that bothers me is the gross sweaty feeling you get the next day.
Mushrooms are the best.
LSD stories are about as interesting as hearing about peoples normal dreams, ie not at all.
If you want a very brief but very intense trip to another universe try 60X Salvia that stuff packs one hell of a wallop.
heres some nice edgy tunes for killing those deadlines... raise your cans of Relentless, being unconsciously scratching the skin on your wrist till its pink and sore and get into the fucking flow..
the whole of this album is good

i heard from some people that, you should not take any drugs, but specifically ayahuasca(spelling?)/dmt with a bad conscience... in fact, the reaction is much better if you actually view the drug as a... living breathing >entity< confirm/deny anyone? the idea appealed to me anyway.
hey, isn't it true, after all, that plants can, in a small way, feel pain and pleasure?
this (conscience thing) was also in rick strassman's book which is hard core peer reviewed science, a number of his patients in the first western clinical trials with dmt reported the same thing: bad trips when they had a bad gut feeling/ conscience to begin with
it kinda reminds me of this story i heard about a thief who would have been succesful, if it weren't for his own conscience and him "feeling like a thief", which he of course was. ummmm, sorry can't remember too much of the details, as my brain didn't think it needed to remember more than that core essence: he LET himself get caught because he didn't think he deserved to get away with it.
i do find it striking and true, there is something within (some of us) that won't let us have a good time if we don't think we deserve it.
some of us really (including myself) have got to got to learn to switch that fucker off and dance!
cause god knows, some of us can go into over-judge-MENTAL hyperdrive, of ourselves, and others, and forget to live.
i mean seriously, name a reason why you, or anyone you know, doesn't deserve to be happy? and for how long? lol
...
house music all night long

Dunno much about acid but I love me some electronic ear goodness.
I actually remember seeing the last three videos on MTV of all places.
Boy did Chris Cunningham's stuff make an impression on a young mind.
Oh and this, awesome.
