Your updates are very interesting, and you've made some great strides. I'd like to see some more gesture drawing, and trying to get better perspective! Great work so far, it's amazing to see how far you've come in one year!

Hey W ,good updates really like the clouds and the tree studies. I would suggest to do still excersises with basic shapes and light and shadow on it . like drawing a cup or some household stuff under the lamp with covered windows for one direction light and than diffuse light? Good tipps are here: http://www.wetcanvas.com/ArtSchool/D...old/index.html Keep going

hello hobbit nice sb you have here I think those studies with the cubes would really benefit you if you did them grayscale only.
at this stage try to focus on simple studies-perspective ,simple value on a sphere and cube, line quality, contour copying and such.
its never to early to start putting ideas down and design but if you want to improve your drawing balance your time more on drawing fundamentals.
    keep at it!
be the change you want to see! help me improve by leaving a comment and Ill help you.

You should do your enviros in black and white first, so you could work the values really well, and then go with color, if you make these last ones in b/w you'll see that they are very similar in value, and you couldn't read them very well, that apple study is really good, looks like you spend some time on it, maybe spend some more time in your enviros too, I hope my english is clear enough =S

    Hey man.

Your stuff's looking good. Good to see you posting, but you haven't posted in a while! *Harasses* C'mon man, throw us a bone!

Crit: Be more careful with your brush strokes and how you do things. Right now, there's a scribbly look to your studies. Nothing wrong with scribbly as a style, but the way you do it is rather chaotic and isn't stylistic.

I'd also, if you're so inclined, have a look at 3D construction and the planes of the figure. Say, start with the face. It'll help your figures have more volume and weight in them.
