    TeknoPaint's Sketchbook

So here I will be trying to improve myself as an artist. Today's study was an orange. Right now I'm working on just studying in black and white.

Trying to figure out how to blend colors together. Been struggling with it. My stuff always comes out muddy and not very sharp looking.

Youre doing pretty good with the highlights you just need to push your darks a little darker! Right now its grey - If you push your dark areas to almost black everything will read clearer.

Thanks for the advice Sytrex! I will definitely try that later tonight with some other fruit.

Here are some morning gestures before I go off to work. None being more than 5.5 minutes long ( the last one of the girl.)

Thanks Deceptive, colors is something I've loved to focus on and just work on. I love it when people look at an imagine and go "wow, those colors are so fantastic."

Sytrex- trying to work from life, I tend to get bored here and there but I know it will help with my overall progress. Since you've been commenting so much you name what kinda of life studies I need/you want to see.

Here are some life drawings from hands I've been doing. I need work on hands and learn more about them overall. So this month I've decided I would study at least one hour a day hands.

As always, thanks for the support everyone. It means more to me than you know. The reason I keep drawing.

Studying hands still. These are over a couple of days, before and after I get off work.
I'm hoping one day to be a fun animator and story creator. Examples Glen Keane, Chris Sanders and more.

I'm trying to get into environment awareness. I created a page called One Tree Matters, where I will be posting my work to help use art for change.

    Here is the link.
