Very good SB you've got there! I went through every single pages of it and it is interesting to see how it evolves. There is definite improvement and confidence with the manner you tackle each new paintings and considering you incredible dedication to produce a sketch daily, the best of it is yet to come. However, I have two regrets, the first one is that your initial sketches which were very Carlos Huante inspired have completely gone with time and it seems that you have found a more comfortable place towards Fine Art with your master painting studies. I am myself a huge Carlos's fan and I was excited of the idea to see more of your creature concepts.
The second one is the repeated use of photo ref in your work, I am myself, doing it too and I feel sometime that despite ending up with some satisfactory results, that I'm choosing that option because it is less effort than working from imagination and guarantee a more successful achievement. I hope you are not taking this the wrong way, but since you have made so much progress with your painting technique I would have loved to see how you could paint some of these original creatures. Anyway, that's was my two cents on the subject. Your work is very inspiring and there is no doubt that in the future I will keep an eye on this SB and look for your live channel too. patram- thanks for appreciate my art. Well, this is not so simple as you told, for sure in the firsts skecths for sure I really enjoyed to do more creatures and as I told here, I love carlos huante too, he is so great and I love the approuch that he has with fine arts, but however, with the time my passion for doing creatures was getting lost and I noticed some of them was very "empty" works. So I starts study fine arts very hard and for some reason I founded my passion back for painting, right now fine arts, for me, has a huge complexyty and really fills me up. But I hope u always make a visit here.
