    Your figurative drawings are very interesting. But I really love how you're able to build up from the abstract on the last post there. Nice work, bud.

    ===EDIT===

    Oh, forgot to mention that I love the first post with the robot looming over that guy. I'd like to see that developed into a finished piece with the lighting just as powerful, it'd be a very dramatic piece.

    thanks! Yep, I love abstraction and improvisation...so much fun!!

    ..but I should do some excercises too!

    here is another fun stuff from imagination (hope I will finnish it also - which Im pretty bad at ..in terms of laziness)

    I had troubles with Painter brushes and their feeling...struggling so much (brush shape and blending technique using oil brushes) ...in the end I used pknives a lot for smoothing it out

    this time I ve tried PS with "Goodbrushes" brush library...and I must say they are pretty amazing...so much fun!!

    actually this one started as a brush stroke test canvas...later transformed to this landscape...

    Post

    still exploring GoodBrushes for PS... and yeah, they rock (thinking of not going outside of the PS to Painter etc...so good feelin)

    just some fun stuff without ref.

    some kind of forest scene (I should use some ref but didnt and it shows! - weak values and forms) I was also so thrilled to detail too soon so the composition is not right

    but was fun anyway

    Great cityscapes. As for your trouble in painter, i think you are doing quite well. just make sure to control your edges- softening up areas that need to be soft and sharpening those that need sharpened. Great stuff though. Love the bleak landscape with the grey sky
