with the specs and stray lines try different brushes... the hard round fades flying everywhere doesn't look so good.

thanks man! those random faded strokes are actually what i started out with, and then i found the shapes within those, so i didnt just add them in for appeal, haha, but yeah, appreciate it! And i'll definitely give those brushes a look...

Heres a side by comparison of my progression over about one year. While the newest painting is hardly detailed at all, thats not the point, the point is the difference in lighting, composition, and realism. Its soooo crazy to see this kind of progression. Just to show you all that hard work pays off, and if you go after what you love, everyday, youre bound to improve I can only go up from here, haha, and im so eager to see what i'll be doing a year from now!

havent painted in a couple days....getting back into the groovy!
With the completion of this painting, ive realized that my works play heavily off of the viewers imagination to fill in the details, but i want to start doing some much more detailed pieces, ive always kept things rather loose, so i think change could be good!
