Rounded Stroke Bug with Intuos4 and Intuos5 tablets

See if you have this bug, I tested it on 2 computers and I noticed the same behavior.

By default the click threshold is a bit low, so you need to change it, but watch how it reacts in Photoshop. The sensitivity is rather bad. Worse is if you try modifying your grip pen preferences it changes the quality of the line.

This affects the intuos4 and intuos5 tablets, but I suspect any other device like the Cintiqs with 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.

should one of the threads get stickied?
also im really surprised no one else is saying they have this... either people don't notice, don't care or don't use CA.org... lol

if a solution comes up, that better get stickied.

Im just so happy you guys figured out the smoothing shoelace thing, that was doing my nut! Ive only got a cheapo Bamboo so didnt think I had much of a leg to stand on re compaining, but its so good to be able to get reasonable strokes. So thanks!

I just wanted to let people know, Wacom responded back to my defect report and thanked me. They said they were getting something similar but the video helped explain it a lot.

The only difference between the Europe and US drivers are more to do with Languages. The functionality are pretty much the same.

Not at this time, I'm sure when there's a new driver update it will likely address this issue and other ones.

wacom never fix stuff within a weeks timeframe.
even if driver code is cleaned up, they need to test it around for a while.
I won't be expecting anything sooner than mid-May.

Just wanted to note that several driver versions have come out and still no solution to this bug. The strokes are as gimpy as ever.
