Corel Painter 12

Hi all,

I was thinking of buying Corel Painter 12 (the educational version) and wanted to know what people thought about the latest version.

I know it has had its fair share of bugs, but I was wondering if it's worth the investment especially if one wants to branch out from digital painting in Photoshop.

corel.com/painter -> download the free 30 day trial version, completely functional.
two weeks of using it was enough for me, but looks like it did get better with patches, and I have painter IX.5 to fall back on.

It's AMAZING! The patches and updates on their websites pretty much fix most of the bugs. I haven't tried an earlier version of Painter before, but I can say that this one is awesome
