This year, I'm going to university to study illustration. I want to get my human anatomy DOWN so that my pictures flow and don't feel so stiff. I suffer from a lot of anxiety and I need someone to look up to and someone to keep me on the right track, because I just can't do this alone.
I'd love homework and all sorts of things. I have anatomy books (Sarah Simblet's Anatomy for the Artist, Valerie L. Winslow's Classic Human Anatomy, all of the Bridgman books, and a bunch of anatomy books that are by strange authors my family bought me for Christmas!). Basically I need someone to help me study, because I just can't get anything in my head even though I read everything over and over again.
Can someone please help me? I'm getting to frustrated with my art because every time I try to draw, I just hate it and I need to get rid of it. My latest works are on my flickr page here, and I have a subscription to human anatomy for the artist which means I have plenty of poses and things to draw from. Not as good as life drawing, but what can you do?
Sorry for the TL;DR. I just want to improve and I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. I know that it would really help to have someone guiding me! I use gtalk for IMing, primarily, but I can use skype at a push (though gtalk has a voice option too). If you'd like my gtalk username, please PM you and I'll tell you there!
Thank you for reading this big chunk of text. You deserve a reward, so here, have a free air pocket!![]()

I really need a mentor!
