Hello Everyone, I have been to this site but this is the first time I created a account and hope to get active.

I hope to build up my concept art skills to a professional level before I graduate from college in October of 2012.
I am currently in school for Game and Simulation Programming. Though I wish I went to a art school instead lol.

These are just a few of my sketches and painting.
some of the images i drew on paper but don't have a scanner to scan it in.

Also I started a 30 day 30 drawings, 1 drawing a day for the next 30 days. I started on April 1st 2012 in hopes to better my skills

I know the background looks kind of ugly. I wasn't really sure what i was going for.

Day 1 Sunday, April 1st 2012

I drew this one yesterday on Sunday. I was going to paint her also but it got late and had to sleep. I might go ahead and paint her when I have time. but this is just the rough sketch. I really need to improve on drawing the legs. it toke me alot of time to try to get it right but I am still unsure if i got it right.

Yeah I know its unfinish. But there is no pencil where I am at right now and I wont be home for awhile. I drew this at work while I was practicing head angle's I don't have a scanner so I toke a picture on my phone

Alright here is a Bonus Sketch I did really quick.

Something About her face that I think I did wrong but can't really place my finger on it. I am thinking its the right eye, Her right not my right.

Alright I did this one on my Tablet, Not my Greatest work. I could have done better. It seem that I need to work more on facial lighting and the hand that is holding a cig. Need to study more on those . So I am going to be reading up tonight!

I decided to paint because I had some inspiration today. Anyways this is a picture of a girl pointing to the sky in the sun set.

Did this in class. The inspiration came from me playing with my toddler buddy sailing the seven sea's and wandering the magical forest. She carrying a magical flower

My friend told me to do a black and white drawing of a real face, So here we go!. I think it came out pretty nice. I kind of messed on the eye. It didn't perfectly match the eye in the photo reference that I used. Anyways please leave a comment or any tips that can improve my art skills

I wanted to do more with this sketch, but today just been horrible and so many interruption that causes me to mess up my rhythm. I just couldn't produce anything that was up to my usual standard.

I really like your Day 9 picture, colors and athmosphere are nice. Values on the Day 11 real face are good, but yes, her right eye is off, I guess you can just pull it on the left.

I call this one the Red Mage, I wanted to make a back ground for this but I forgot to create a layer so I ended up painting on the canvas background

Day 16 Monday April 16th 2012

This is a unfinished one, I am thinking the armor piece on his right arm is a bit off and a bit to much. I think I am going to remove it and place something more tribel on it, Also the left hand holding the sword I might change as well. I was thinking of changing the way he holds it. Anyways I'll pick up where I left off tomorrow. If you guys have any tips on what to add or how I can make this better please feel free to tell me!

I did this real early in the morning like around 12 or 1 am.
I wasn't aiming for a mounting like view, but somehow it just came out that way. Anyways this is me practicing environmental view. Any tips or comments would be most appreciated.

I wanted to do a environmental painting but I just wasn't feeling it today, I need to study more on it before I proceed to paint it.

Anyways I don't have a name for this one, but a friend told me to get out of my comfort zone drawing humanoid so I decided to draw a creature of some sort lol some what humanoid but yea.

I am working on creating a web comic with a buddy of mines. This is one of the main characters

I am going to finish this tomorrow. Hopefully by that time I can figure out some design for the characters armor and such.

Tell me what you think the design should be, I am going to need some ideas!

I see definitely improvement in your digital work. I would stick with the 2nd warrior, that one has a natural looking cool pose.

@ americanheadcharge, thanks for the comment. I also like the second one. but be sure to check out the new one I am going to post. I am still deciding on which one to pick. Though I am not sure about the pose for the new one. which is the line drawing.

I did a quick thumbnails of a game character I am designing for my development team. These are Halfings!, that why they are so short and stocky lol
