I just finished this piece of Ifrit perched atop of an ancient column high in the sky. I was looking for any suggestions on some finishing techniques. I'm thinking about doing a texture on top... but I do want to keep it simple. Thanks in advance.

Try putting really subtle hints of the orange in on top of the clouds. Really low opacity should create an optical neutral and better integrate the complimentary color (orange) throughout the piece.
I would definitely shift the pillar color to a complement of the creature.
What would Caravaggio do?
