Just very quickly, the first finished page... Hold my thumbs I'll finish the rest in time!

Oookay, all finished! Whew, just in time before I have to get to work today. It's not as polished as I'd have liked it to be, once more too little time to gather reference and stuff and I didn't have the time to finish the inking really nicely but well... I'm still proud of it!

When I was a kid reading comics, i honestly didn't know wtf a Mobius was, I just usually saw it in relation to these odd images of someone riding a flying dinosaur. I still don't know enough about the guy, but I know I love his work, this kind of trippy heavy metal stuff has always inspired me to no end. He and Frazzetta are the only ones I know by name, There are a few artists i saw in heavy metal in the 80s-90s that i really wish i knew who they were. One day I plan to go nuts on a HM collection. Anyway, I'm grateful for this, if for nothing else of reminding me of some of these brief, yet powerful influences on my young self.
So, anyway, I wasn't sure if ppl would get the dino reference and all.
This is going to be a really good match I think, i for one am having a hard time deciding who to vote for!![]()

I am right beside the UK, but Ilaekae's original maxim of "as long as it's still the deadline date somewhere in the world" holds true. This was an ace round you guys. I'll post mine in the non-competitive comics section when I do the poll. My day-job workload is intense right at this minute, but I'll put up the new topic when I get home tonight and the poll for this one as soon as I have the 30 or so minutes to spare to do it.

Just noticed how large the font in my last page is. Hope I can still sub this page?

Posted my pages last night before the deadline. Hope that counts.

Sorry, S.P., what I meant to say was that I uploaded my pages to the forum before the deadline, but the policy here is that newcomers aren't allowed to post images until they've been approved by sys admins or something, not just mods. This process usually results in a lag time of a few days between when I upload my pages and when they actually appear on the forum. I'm assuming you all went through this.
Anyway, what I'm hoping is that the mod can see the date and time that my files were originally uploaded, and thus my pages would still qualify for the poll. If not, it isn't the end of the world. But the entrants for this round were really good, so it would be nice to be posted alongside them.
It's okay, Wild Bill Turkey, I am the most forgiving of times and dates. You're being counted, don't you worry. I've been approving your posts as I get to them. I do need you to get a blanket approval though, will work on that over the next day or two.
