Commissioned by the Pope to make the treacherous passage between Rome and Florence in less than a day, The Da Vinci dino racer was the fastest vehicle of its time. Powered by three Ornithomimus', the racer was capable of a constant speed of around 70 Mph, and a top speed of over a 100 mph, easily outpacing the fastest predators of the day.

    Two pretty good entries,

I voted for snailspace, simply because I like the idea, but i am intrigued as to how the wheel stays up once the cart slows down or how it doesn't bowl the dinosaurs over if they stop suddenly

Legatos design is probably something I had in mind when designing the cart, while well done, it's probably a little too conventional.

How dare you question the almighty magical freestanding wheel!? You know a magic wheel don't crush his dinosaurs, maybe he has to slap them around every once in awhile, but thats just when they don't have his money.

Seriously though... There is a disk type breaking system meant to be implied in the center of the wheel, understandable if it doesn't pop out. Your point about tipping over is valid, there are struts that i didn't draw that would be on a similar horse wagon, those would help, but not solve the problem. Possibly a retractable set of training wheels would be a cool solution. But, in reality, I think one wheeled vehicles, however ridiculous and awesome... are just impractical.

HaHa, I should have known better, I've been guilty of using the magic excuse on my previous attempt at IDW
