Glossy Screen is fine?

I have been scouring the internet and have come across people who say the glossy screen on the current iMac is absolutely fine for color work along side use with a Spyder3. One person even said it was perfectly calibrated out of the box which is what marko djurdjevic also stated in a video.

Anyone else care to back these theories up? I am in the need for a new mac (not pc please) and just checking up on their displays.

No replies. I will take it as glossy is fine since I have only heard good things. Thanks everyone

Never go with glossy as a rule of thumb. Colours appear more saturated than norm and the reflection is terrible.

Too late. No reflections here I have my office set up properly. I don't find it too be too saturated. I used a spyder4 with my cintiq and glossy screen now both are the same
