Starbomb WIP - It's so hard being a bomb

Just sketched this up... but won't have time to work on it much in the next few days, so thought I'd toss it up here and see if I could get some feedback on it.

Basically, it's a character that blows himself up as a superpower. I decided to twist that a tad, and try to catch him on an 'off' day...

I plan to make this into a digital painting, but am wondering - is there anything in this basic form that stands out as wrong to you?



Oh, and I forgot to add a cape... gotta remember that. I'm notorious for forgetting simple things like that.

I like the idea. Reconsider your cropping. Awkward tangents on both arms right now. Also, do we really need to see his whole figure? Right now all of the drama is happening in and around the face. Either utilize the rest of his body language to reinforce the emotion or cut it out.
