Hi, nice pixel art.
Hi, nice pixel art.
Hey man, cool stuff. I love the metal bust study, although I think the chin might be a bit off
Here's a bunch of uninspired crap from last month

Love it all! You're really solid in your studies and lines and I can see you sort of know which direction so I guess, kudos to you and cheers mate! Can't wait to see more!![]()
Nice sketchbook! Some hard work put in to this. Good job, keep posting!
@Rissakay: Thanks, glad to hear you like the stuff.
@razvanb08: Thank you.

Oh hey, I remember you from Facepunch! I love your style, you've been developing your own technique and concepts very nicely.
Thanks MrBigCheese!

Good work hitting the figure studies!
I think you should try some studies establishing first the ribs and hips as solid shapes to see their relationship more clearly.
and specifically for drawing women, this has some good tips -> http://robaato.deviantart.com/art/Girly-Tips-288060521
Thanks Mr. Simons! Very good tips, I will definitely keep the ribs/hip thing in mind.
And now for a small update

Very talented, Xamllew! You have skill with pen and pencil hatching. Oh , and i like the depth of perspective in your pixel studies, very skill fully executed. Also, drawing figures and portraits seems to be your speciality, they are so real!
Are you a prof. Painter? Have you learned art in an art school? Your work is pretty advanced as far as i'm concerned. If not, then how did you learn to paint/sketch so well?
Thanks in advance.
Wow, thanks Mepainter, very awesome comment to receive, like an early Christmas present.No I do not consider myself a professional, I don't get paid to draw or anything special like that and I don't feel like I work hard enough to be considered as such. I am almost entirely self-taught, the only class I've taken was half a semester of 2d art in Highschool but I was already pretty deep into drawing at that time so I am fairly sure I didn't gain anything from it.
Anyway, here's a few things, daily portraits, sketches and 2 full color studies

Really nice updates Xamllew!
The Ilya master study is beautiful, very realistic. What is mypaint? Looks like a nice paint software, is it better than photoshop?
Lovely to see those updates of yours, and for someone self taught.. you are doing very well.
You have a really awesome style going on here. I love the repin master study. Keep up the great work bro.
@Mepainter, I'm glad you like my updates, thank you for your continued support. As for Mypaint, its a simple free painting program with a nice clean and basic interface. I don't think it quite compares to Photoshop, it doesn't have any editing features like cropping or cut/paste.
@Colour Coded, Thanks.

Wow, great stuff! It really looks professional. Do you attend an artschool?
Thanks SashaDevi! That's great to hear, and no, I've never had any formal schooling for art.
