the outline around him is kinda bothersome. Its like thats the sole element that differentiates between frodo and the background. If you want him to stand apart from the background, try using more subdued colors in the back or something. This is really good though for all mouse.

Take out the outerglow on the text and use a better font. Typography can make or break a picture. Nice work on Frodo, though. He looks too...erm...rugged, though. I think its because the area around the mouth is too dark compared to the rest, but I'm not sure. In any case, take out the text or change the font! Good stuff.

It looks good but you need to work on getting some more contrast between light and dark.
