A concept of the very famous Mad Hatter from Lewis Carol's Alice in Wonderland. Here is my vision of the character, It started as a character research and ended up being more of illustration. I had to take away elements in the original concept to make it work as an illustration.
So this is my first painting that I took to a final stage of rendering etc.It took around 15h maybe a bit more, 90% done in corel painter and the rest in photoshop for color editing and contrast(also did the hat in photoshop which was a pain to do)
