Hey man, thx for the sketchbook visit, only just remembered to reply. Lovin' the last piece in #211. Keep working on your construction stuff as it will be really helpful for imagination drawings. As for the last painting, try to use bigger brushes to block in the big main forms first, because when you use smaller brushes not only does it take way longer but it also gives you a texture to your paintings that you don't always want. Great progress so far anyways and happy drawing/painting![]()

every things getting so accuratebasically, you're killing it
really like the rendering on that last one, however I'm not sure how useful that fucking huge sword is going to be to him :L
will123will: aw, thanks a lot for replying and the advice
DanBK: pyramid head is a strong one, i don't think that he needs the sword at all![]()

I know I say this all the time, but I am honored to have seen how far you've come.
Great updates.
i agree with harbinger, always delightful to stop by here, love your stuff, the new stuff is beautiful. keep doing what your doing, if you want a specific task.... draw a girl from the shoulders up looking into a mirror . our view point should be from the back of the girl's head. i feel like drawing this would force you to draw somethings you haven't been.
of course if you don't wanna do that, lol fuck it. you're on the right track. I like the pink haired girl at the top![]()
HarbingerofIllRepute: thank you, harbinger. this really means a lot to me : ]
Shahan: like always, thanks for stopping by : ) and the task sounds pretty nice. i will try it as soon as i get enough time for that. i only hope that it won't turn out as messy as i suppose : D but what i'm actually trying to keep in mind is what naidy said "Don't be "afraid" about messing up a picture. Sketches aren't sacred"
and finally : more stuff from imagination

Those perspective exercises really seem to be working! I can see your characters and figures look a lot more full of volume and look more 3d. keep up the hardwork heehee!![]()

Shahan: here we go, just as promised. : D kinda failed but i tried.

Woah, you've improved so much since your first post! Keep up the great work and never stop practicing. c: My advice for you would be to study value more, especially on the body and the face with the light at different angles.
Ding-Dong said King-Kong as he ripped off little Suzy’s thong. I’ve been missing you
so much, just as I have missed your art, you are a wonderful person, and your mind
creations are going over the top. A creamed marshmallow with sweetened cherry, everything
you did is an outstanding strawberry. When you paint something, you paint it real softly,
and you know how to bring the horror through a pinhole. The Silent Hill creature is fascinating,
a bit stiff but he’s still the man, he can still swallow everything that is relatively hollow. It’s good
to draw from your mind, cause it opens up a little hole directly to your soul. Just as this girl
staring into mirror, she is far beyond her neighbor. She knows what is good and what is
essential in her life, but she just cannot reach it, cause her hands are too short, and the
mirror is too long. You have to understand that your subconscious mind and your soul
is going through a phase of silent daze, and everything you do can turn out like a shining
velvet hose, turning to a beautiful rose. You really touched greatly in the depths of personal
individuality with these last paintings, I am so satisfied. Thank you for sharing, you are like
an unique lamb appearing up on a blissful peaceful giant’s hand.
Mindoodley: hey there! thanks for visiting my sb and the advice. i'm gonna try it : D
LtPlissken: don't know how to thank you for those kind words...i really, really appreciate it [: also great to see you being back again!
soooo i practiced a little
let's see if i'm able to improve my proportions and values... also on life drawing ;_____;

Some real nice paintings since I last came by. Nice hand studies too.
My only crit is some of the torsos seem strange in certain pictures, particularly the area around the rib cage/shoulder and just below that, before the hips. Breaking the torso into basic shapes and drawing the various ways they can bend and twist might help solidify their construction in your mind. (If that makes much sense???)
Either way, it's good seeing you're still drawing varied poses and expressions. Real good stuff, mate. Keep it up!
Very inspiring sb! Nice work, keep posting your goodies!
Naidy: you're right, i'm still not familiar with anatomy :/ maybe i'll get back to hampton, loomis or bridgeman and have a closer look on things like that. however, thanks a lot for your visit, always glad to see your comments ^^
Azsha: thanks for stopping by (:
so i'm actually proving to myself that i TOTALLY suck at observational drawing. no matter if it's still life or ref
i'm just not able to draw the right proportions and place details right. kinda drives me insane but well... i guess all i can do is practicing
my very weak points and hope to improve that way. and i really hope i'll do some day ~__~
soooo, how about more crap:

what to do if you aren't able to see things as a whole while drawing? :/
this kinda kills me and may be the reason why i'm not able to concentrate on the proportions
any advices for a desperate braineater?

Chucky is peeping through the door. I like that part cause it’s scary
enough to make a nun to grab her gun. Keep up with the tasty bloody
nastiness. I like when you leave the knife fully dipped in the honey jar.
More studies of course, it’s never enough of studies, hands, legs all
kind of body parts. Do them harder, and do them even more often.
you're good and same age as me![]()
HarbingerofIllRepute: thanks for the reply and the advice. sounds actually like a good idea that i'm gonna try soon. maybe i could work from smaller to larger pictures? having the wrong observation is such a difficult issue :/ but let's see where practice can take both of us : D
LtPlissken: hey plissken , THX for motivating! (:
heheboy: oh, nice. have you already uploaded your own sb yet? would be curious to see it
more painting again
this time some strange environment-thing from mind + movie study (which looks like anything else than the ref)

<- and i have no idea what this is supposed to be, but well.
I NEED PRACTICE

Hello dear. I see that you did your homework today, that’s why success is going to
come to you. Hard worker and true soul with a strong heart you are.
Keep on doing greyscale studies, and go more darker with bigger contrast on them.
Big respect to you and happy Easter.
Ermahgerd, your Slenderman is so creeps. I love your hands, they all feel right. And your latest value paintings are excellent. :3
Uhmmm, one teacher I had told me to squint my eyes until I couldn't see the finer details and draw what I see from that for the initial sketches. That way you don't get caught up in all the details until your proportions are right. Just a suggestion. :3
LtPlissken: thanks! i did (: and happy eastern to you
xKotu: hey there ! :] thanks for the visit and your advice, maybe it could help me with my still life drawings
