Anyone own LineageII???

just wondering if any of you guys like the game. So far as presentation, it looks awesome. great soundtrack to. I just wanna know if anyone has it and of course your thoughts on it.

my friend had played the beta and hated it. He thought the official release would be better. He got it for 50 bucks and deleted his account after 2 hours. The music and visuals are amazing, but the gameplay and lag sucks.

if you played diablo2 and you enjoyed it, you enjoy PVP and know what a mmorpg game is suppose to be like, then you'll love this game.

well I ownzored the beta !!
Seriously. It was like Diablo II but it was SLOW, I mean I played and played and only got to lvl 18. Farming, that's it. Supposed to get better with high levels, I'll never know!

Don't judge a game while its in beta. I thought DAoC was going to suck because in beta no one PvP'ed and they had some server crashes but DAoC had one of the best (if not the best) launches for a MMO. And Anarchy Online, the game was great in beta. It had barely any lag at all, but on release everyone got a TON of packet loss, and the game sucked after that.

But, I've heard that Lineage has the best PvP but the worse PC vs NPC. I've never played it, but this is just what I heard. Still, the game would have to be worth trying, the graphics alone are amazing so you know the team had put a lot of hard work and time into it.

I don't play it but I watched all the trailers yesterday. I really like the models. It has some really neat and sexy designs overall.

The only thing that annoys me is the animations which are a bit too... dramatic and repetitive. (Well, that and I don't like the mmorpg leveling gameplay at all.)

There's some nice art on its site. Can you DL (on the site) and play offline?

AnarchyAO2: Anarchy Online rocked after the release, the lag went away after a while for me (maybe it was just my connection)

Lineage II does look great, but I think I'll be fine with having a life for this summer, rather than spending it playing a game like that

By the way, I was going to go pick up a game today, anyone have any suggestions, any genre?
