The 3rd one is good, it's more defined and realistic than the others...you're doing well!

Eleyon thanks
new page, yay!
I´ve been doing mostly traditional stuff this week, but my scanner doesn´t want me to scan, so, just the digital things. Not much because I already started college again and I´m quite busy. Also started studying german.

a couple of wips![]()
some studies!
Heh, I think we paint from the same soft porn, uh, references!
That portrait in #152 is lovely! I like the painterly quality, and yet you managed to keep the edges clean.
Keep going!
Lyraina thanks! yay for softcore porn! It's so hard to find nice pics of nude people with good light.
a portrait in progress (can you guess who is he?) a study and a wip from imagination.
some studies
Very nice studies I must say. Could be interesting to see them a bit more refined. The eyes are looking good too.
A broken scanner can be a bit of a blessing sometimes. Sure helps to increase the digital work. Or give you the opportunity
to really dump A LOT of sketches once you have it working again. Keep it up. Immer schön weiter so und nur nicht aufgeben.

A tutor once said to me: "Let your mind go!" and it didn´t come back.

bbwolf thanks! Sure it helps, I loose less time scanning stuffDanke schön!
more studies! I need to start practising from imagination >.<
a study! I need to do clothing studies, it`s hard!
a bit less than 2 hours
more work on the study, and a wip of a new one. I'm decided to learn how folds work >.<
Looks like your digital work is really coming along nicely. I really like your figure studies as well. Great stuff.![]()
AdamDilley thank you so much
a practise from imagination and a couple of studies
sketch from imagination and study from a photo
another study. don't really like how this one turned out. also, a quick sketch I may continue
Hi! I just read your SB from the very beginning - you've really improved sooo much! Your studies are looking great!
The only crit I can think of to mention is that maybe, particularly on your paintings from imagination, the colours you use for shadows on skintones are a bit black/greyish, try picking a slightly darker but more saturated colour for shadows, or lightly brush a purple or blue over the shadow area. Hope to see more soon!![]()
anivy thanks! I've been noticing that problem, trying to fix it :)
my scanner finally works! yay! so I'm going to be uploading some of the traditional work I've been doing, not all.
proportions look spot on to menice clean lines
anivy they are not perfect... but I'm working on it!
so, more stuff. anatomy and shading studies!
more! these are from imagination
The last anatomy studies have bigger heads than they're supposed to be from what I'm seeing but on some of them it might be because you left them white.
Kriss_Kringle they might be, I usually have trouble with doing the heads the right size.
more studies from some time ago
Hello, your sketchbook is showing signs of improvement. You are doing a lot of studies and that is a good thing.
One thing you mentioned is that you would possibly like to be a concept artist. If that is the case then it would also be good to start exercising your imagination. Concept art is about design and ideas.
I would recommend more participation in the weekly activities (chow, cow, etc.).
cheers.![]()
fireblade thanks for the coment! yes, you are right, I often find myself thinking that I'm not good enough to start doing real things, so I'm not doing as much as I should from imagination or designing. I'll try to fix it :)
I keep uploading my sketches.
this time some anatomy studies and a sketch from imagination.
So... after a long time I think I'm back. I've been having too little time to paint anything. More things coming soon.
More stuff
first is a gift for a secret santa, and the other is a study I did this morning
some stuff from the past week
